To the left is an image taken of the dedication ceremony of the Beneficial Society of North Italy building in 1947.  As Mr. Paraggio recounts, society members used their artisan skills to construct this building themselves. 

The image below captures a group of BSNI members lounging at the society's bar.  As Mr. Paraggio rightly noted, this fraternal organization was the source of both social and financial benefits to society members.
