In addition to sustaining the Italian American cultural traditions of food and family in her new home, Providenza Crisanti also worked with her husband to manage the family's wholesale produce business.  As Providenza and her son, Paul J. Crisanti, relate in this oral history clip, their family's involvement in the produce business was a natural adaptation of the old-world agricultural traditions cultivated for generations in Sicily.
