After departing from Italy in 1938 with his family to join his father in Bellevue, Pa., Ed returned to school once again to receive his diploma from an American high school. After being drafted on March 19, 1943, Mr. Paraggio was sent to Camp Robinson in Arkansas. Listen as Mr. Paraggio recounts the unique manner in which answering the call to serve America in the Armed Forces led to him becoming an American citizen.
