Frank Crisanti with family's produce wagon in Pittsburgh, Pa. Upon his immigration from Sicily to America in 1908, Crisanti joined his relatives and began peddling fruits and vegetables in the streets of Pittsburgh.

Frank and Providenza Crisanti upon their arrival in Termini Imerese, Italy. In 1931, the Crisanti's returned to Italy and lived there for two years before returning Pittsburgh and re-establishing their produce business.
